Recov­ery Advo­cates of Amer­i­ca is a 501©(3) not for prof­it peer to peer cen­ter that strives to provide edu­ca­tion around the dis­ease of addic­tion, tools to sus­tain recov­ery through engage­ment, and reduce the stig­ma of addic­tion with­in our com­mu­ni­ty.

Their cen­ter is instru­men­tal in our com­mu­ni­ty in pro­vid­ing all peo­ple suf­fer­ing from the dis­ease of addic­tion a safe haven to get treat­ment options and sup­port through all stages of their recov­ery.  As addic­tion is clas­si­fied as a fam­i­ly dis­ease, in addi­tion to help­ing the addict, they also provide tools and resources for the fam­i­ly in order to best recov­er through their own jour­ney.  Recov­ery Advo­cates of Amer­i­ca offers cri­sis inter­ven­tions for both the addict and the fam­i­ly, sup­port meet­ings and 12 step intro­duc­tions, and fam­i­ly pro­grams to keep addicts and fam­i­lies engaged.  Their mis­sion is to provide a plat­form and net­work for those who strive for recov­ery to achieve con­tin­u­ous, sus­tain­able recov­ery.
