I come from a large Italian family of entrepreneurs so it was only a matter of time before I took the reins and started my own business.
After graduating from Montclair State University with a major in Hospitality, like any other college graduate, I was unsure of a career path. I found myself in different roles at renowned company’s like the Hyatt & Westin Brand, Walt Disney World as well as, AAA Mid-Atlantic.
It wasn’t until my role as Event & Marketing Manager at a wealth management firm that I discovered my passion for graphic design. There I was held responsible for all creative direction regarding their marketing collateral and planning logistics of all client appreciation events such as wine tastings, financial seminars and golf outings. I enjoyed what I was doing thoroughly and soon found myself back in the classroom to enhance my Graphic & Web Design skills. Since then I entertained freelance projects for small business branding and continue to be successful with creating great results for many small businesses through graphic design concepts.
Soon after, I found myself in that stage of your life when everyone you know is getting married! One of them being my cousin, who approached me to design her wedding invitations. It was my first attempt at an embellished wedding invitation so I was a bit hesitant, but together we made it happen. I started to receive great feedback from the guests who received the invitation and even the venue had positive words to say. Shortly after the wedding the venue actually contacted me to show them more, and before I knew it I was their wedding invitation and stationery preferred vendor and still am today. Since then I have established similar relationships with other venues in the central New Jersey and Greater Philadelphia. The combination of those relationships and warm referrals has allowed me to do what I love full-time.
It is no surprise that Cupcake Graphics now specializes in boutique wedding invitations and stationery suites. Every invitation I design is meticulously hand assembled and packaged with the highest attention to quality and detail. I work closely with each client’s budget to create a wedding invitation suite that is personally tailored.
When I am not designing, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I am a huge fan of comedy shows and theatre in general. I am also, what some would call, a foodie. I enjoy trying new restaurants and unique foods and pairing my meals with great wines. Having planned wine-tastings in the past, I have learned to truly appreciate the taste and art of wines from all over the world.
Whether you are looking to spruce up your marketing collateral or create the perfect wedding invitation, I tailor each project to fit my client’s needs and provide a pleasant experience through the process. I take pride in what I do. Design is my passion and I hope to share it with you.
